About

April Nemeth is an Italian American multi-disciplinary designer based in Los Angeles, with a special interest in conscious and ethical business, creating strategy, design & production across all platforms. She specializes in brand identities, campaigns, social strategy & content creation, commercials, websites, apps, new product development, environments, styling, interiors, and more.

APRIL NEMETH is an artist, designer and entrepreneur. From a family of creatives, April got her start as an artist at a young age and works in a variety of mediums. She attended the NASAD accredited Visual Communication Design School at Kent and holds a BFA/MA in design. She started her multi-disciplinary design practice over a decade ago. Prior to dedicating herself to her practice full time, she worked as a professional designer then director at the largest creative products company in the US for 13 years, absorbing all she could and making her an expert collaborator. Her passion for creativity has driven her to wear many hats in the field and gain experience and seniority as a graphic designer, content creator, textile designer, product developer, design director, creative director and business owner. In tandem, she has devoted much of her life to pursuing interests that help protect our planet and the people on it.

In 2008, through her passions for sustainability and consciousness, April founded the successful brand Little Korboose as an ethical lifestyle and interior decor option for conscious consumers. Little Korboose creates modern minimalist home goods compassionately hand-crafted with Earth and people friendly materials. Merchandise can be found in shops around the world.

April is also a life long world traveller and holds a certification in Vinyasa Yoga and Meditation. In 2018, she founded the creative retreat company Juniper & Stone where she combines art, travel & yoga to curate transformative experiences for individuals, groups and businesses. All proceeds are contributed to the communities in which the retreats take place in an effort to give back.

In her main atelier in Los Angeles, April creates thoughtful designs and experiences rooted in modern design and architecture, inspired by nature and travel. April’s work has been featured in Dwell Magazine, Vogue and many other print and online publications. Her recent client list includes The Captain Whidbey Inn, Ohio Department of Higher Education, West Elm and Leanne Ford.
